Pragmatic Marketing's Annual Survey Shows Average Salaries Again Above $100,000
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 27, 2013 – Product managers and marketers earned an average of $100,000 to $120,000 a year in 2012, according to Pragmatic Marketing's 13th Annual Product Management and Marketing Survey.
The average salary was up slightly from the previous year's average of $98,068. Annual bonuses, on the other hand, fell to $10,000 from the previous $13,501. Both fluctuations are consistent with changes in technology compensation overall, according to industry reports.
So what were the factors that pushed respondents to earn above-average salaries?
In addition to compensation information, Pragmatic Marketing's 13th Annual Product Management and Marketing Survey featured the latest insights on the experience and responsibilities of product management and marketing professionals. The survey was conducted between November 26th and December 21st, 2012, with more than 1,500 individuals responding.
